Custom Logo Creation
Logos are those little pictures that people can associate with yourself and your style and music or the brand you are marketing. It is very essential to have made one custom and that is appealing and professional. If you don't feel comfortable doing it from scratch yourself using advanced image editors you can very well use a logo creation software or export the job to many freelance artists where you can bid for a pretty good amount.
Many logos usually take a letter in the name and create a symbol out of it - some of the examples are; McDonalds, Verizon etc.You can even take an object or design and add it to the logo. Some of the examples for these kind are; Amazon.com, Goodyear, Nike.
Remember that you want to have a memorable piece of work. This will be the visual representation of your brand. We should take care that it doesn’t get too complex. Pictures of people and other complex chemical or organic shapes can confuse your viewer. You want them to see it, recognize it, and get a first impression of your brand. This is the only reason to have a logo. Save the mind blowing designs for your product covers and labels.
If you feel you have a unique enough fonts you can run with your custom made logo add some circles or squares around the symbol and you are ready to go.
Beware of using fading gradients in the design. Gradients are a nightmare when transferred from print to web. If you decide to use one don't use the gif or the graphic interchange format for the web. It will cause something called banding. Use the jpeg compression which suits the web.
Some of the important points to keep in mind when creating custom logos are: It is good to keep it simple, keep it memorable, keep the text readable, better not using a gradient. These rules have their exceptions, but I think if you follow these you will have less than a few headaches. Have fun playing with colors. It's your cool and custom logo!
